I Spent a week in the National University of Singapore where I got to explore all the different branches of science. I got to work in a gene lab where I extracted DNA from my cheek cells and used polymerase chain reactions (pcr) to find out if I'm a morning or night person.
We went to the Khoo Teck Puat Advanced Surgery Training Centre where I learnt how exactly laparoscopic surgery works and got to use laparoscopic surgical instruments. I was also taught how to suture and make incisions laparoscopically.
We also went to the NEWater water recycling plant which is a major supplier of water in Singapore. I learnt how membrane and ultraviolet technologies are employed to recycle water
I Attended many lectures by professors who offered valuable insight on their areas of study
I became a certified game developer when I took a year-long course with Whitehat Junior where I learnt the elements of game design, game adaptivity and integrating simple AI into a game. I wrote code for many single and multiplayer games. Made some of my own games like multiplayer car racing, maze runner, etc using Visual Studio Code.
