As a team leader in the School student council, I have been actively involved in organizing multiple events held at school.
I’m the vice Chairman of CSA MUN and have been responsible for hosting CSAMUN III.
Trained 30 delegates from my committee which was General Assembly 3 - Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee, for a span of two weeks.
I selected and extensively researched a topic - Ensuring gender equality in the economic sphere - for my committee to create a background guide for delegates.
Effectively conducted committee sessions along with my co-chair and our committee was voted best committee at CSAMUN III
It was an exciting opportunity to collaborate with like minded members of the CS Student Council to start CS Academy’s first ever debate club - The CS Debate Society. Our motive was to create a safe learning space where students with a flair for public speaking and expressing their opinions in the form of debate can further hone their skills.
We coordinate two meetings a month and Dr Vikram, Director of CS Academy, mentors the debate club. I organized and participated in many small scale debates during these sessions consisting of 48 students.
Harvard Model United Nations 2022
It was an honor to participate in HMUN 2022. As the delegate of Argentina, I vouched for refugee rights in Argentina, proposing solutions which included streamlining the process of documentation for undocumented immigrants.
I successfully passed a resolution as part of the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees)
HMUN was a memorable experience which made a deep impact in my MUN journey by teaching me so much about what it is to be a delegate representing a country at an actual United Nations Conference.
